Hi,
I proudly present a new member of my small Ball family
At an internet site here in Holland I found a very nice JP6; in black, with original suitcase.
It was put on the site repeatedly. I promised myself to go and look for it, whenever it sould appear on the site for the third time, I would go and take a look at it.
So it did and the price was much lower. I went and took it with me immediately.
I changed the pickups for the Liquidfire and the CrunchLab; I also changed the tone pot for a push-pull, for the 'split sound'.
What a difference! At first, I had to get used to the sound: I felt it was a bit sterile. But, now, after the pickup change, the JP comes to live. With the split option it is very versatile. It can purr and scream and everything in between. The combination with the MarkV is producing killing guitar tones. I cannot put it down until my fingers really hurt.
