Hi Guys,

I am a new member to the Ernie ball forum. I've been reading some of the stuff that's been posted and find everyone's fascination of MusicMan basses very interesting. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one... Here's my pride and joy, my "Starchild" Bass. I haven't thought of a name for it yet.

Just click on the 'User CP' button on the top left of the page when you're loggd in, en you'll see somthing that says' avatar'. The small pic onder everyone's name is the so-called avatar.

And welcome to the forum, great looking bass you have there

White Color on a Bass

Hey,

Is it true that my bass will start to turn yellowish with age? If so, that would be cool! I would maybe put a tortoise pickguard on it then.

Is your bass up there white??!!
Cuz from the pic, I'm thinkin it's
buttercream (I don't see oxblood tho)

If it's white <btw, sorry chuck>, it may
yellow over time but it will take a long, long time.

New Stingray!

...Today, I just recently purchased a new Stingray 5 to go with my Starchild Bass. I will post a picture as soon as I have it setup. The action is a little higher on it than desired.

Welcome! Nice bass.
Something about the perspective of that pic is tripping me out. Is the Ampeg a tilt-back? That'd explain things then. :p

Yes, the amp is a tilt-back BA-115 (my practice amp)...
