Hello all. Just registered here and thought I'd say 'Whuz up?!'

Been out of the bass game for awhile, took a shot at the six string deal but miss the hell out of the low tones.

I owned a Blue Pearl Sterling in the mid/late 90's and it was the best bass I've ever owned. I've owned many basses. Peaveys, Fenders, Arias, Ibanez etc. Looking to score another Sterling and an amp as well. May have to sell a guitar to do it but oh well! ;)

Nice place BTW!

Hi Greg

I'm getting back into playing too.. dusting off the gear and hardening up the fingers, and slowly getting to grips with my SR5. Never had a go on a Sterling, but my old SR4 is my favourite instrument of all time. Worrying thing is how much hardware I seem to have accumulated over the years - I think I only ever sold one bass (71 PB) and one old Park rig (remember them?) which was far too big for me to lift anyway!

Enjoy!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!!! This place rocks.

...and gives ya bad GAS!!!

I currently own three guitars: two PRS and a Les Paul R6. I'm thinking seriously about unloading one of them and getting me another Sterling <headbanger dude ON> :) and an amp. Been surfing all day today and yesterday just burning up with GAS for another bass rig.

Surfing? I have ice on the ground here. I put my wifes ironing board on the ice and went surfing. :p :D
