Hello y'all over there across the pond. I only discovered this website today and it makes very good reading too.

Although I am primarily a keyboard player, I have been playing guitar for around 50 years with varying degrees of success. Current axes are:-

1982 Strat
1993 Tele
1988 LP
Washburn bass which I converted to fretless
Peavey backstage amp DIed into Studiomaster Diamond 8 desk
Peavey 350X350 Power amp and Hi-Sys cabs

I am also building a lap steel and would appeal to anyone with expertise in such animals to come to my rescue with tips for playing the thing.

Nice to meet all of you.

:D

Welcome Trux :)

Do stick around cuz this place is awesome... very friendly members, and the EBMM staff (including the big cheese Big Poppa) actively participate. Do yourself a favor too... go out and get an EBMM guitar! You'll never regret it. :)

I may very well do that! I really don't need all the guitars I have. If I trade them all in, I might get a decent Ernie.

I also have some antique guitars - a 1955 Framus cello guitar, an Australian Maton and a Hofner President all of which are totally unplayable!

Welcome Trux

This is a great place on the web, very helpful and friendly. Great reading. I highly recomend a music man guitar if at all possible they are master crafted with extremely high precision. The best guitars I've ever played.

Hey, What up.

I'm new, and I just picked up the bass guitar. I borrowed it from brother and it's really awesome. It's probably the funnest thing I've done in a long time. Getting my own bass real soon.

Ya, will not be jamming with my bro- as he uses his bass as accompianment for his jazz choir.
