Hi guys

My name is Dave and I've been an avid reader on these forums for some time.

As an exclusive user of Musicman guitars I thought it was about time I joined up officially. A big thanks to Ernie Ball for the finest guitars out there, no other guitars compare for me and I'm constantly in awe at how good they sound.

I plan on adding many more to my collection but for now my 20th Silhouette, 2005 LE Axis Supersport and 93 Silhouette are giving me plenty of options.

I'm proud to be part of the family!

Cheers

Dave

I poached in your photobucket. The pattern of your ceiling reflecting on the top of your LE looks like a nice quilt

Hi there,

The Blackstar is a superb amp, pure class A tone which is incredibly articiculate and rich. This amp punches far above its weight and is better than anything I have ever heard. The amps are designed in the UK but are assembled in Korea to keep costs down. Don't be put off by this as the build quality is superb. Blackstar was formed by 2 guys that used to work for Marshall, so they know what they are doing.

It has 2 seperate channels, you can use one or the other or link them up, kind of like the old plexis.
channel one has just volume and tone and a Bass shape switch, channel 2 volume, gain, voice switch (Bright, Warm) and Bass, Mid and Treble.

Check out the review in guitarist

Blackstar Amplification | Artisan

and here is a really comprehensive demo on you tube from one of the Blackstar designers:

I hope this helps.
