Mine (a 2001) came with a cloth and a little allen key for the saddles. The case fits fine (it's cut to fit both right and left handed basses), but it's a bit like carrying a portable wall.

There was no reading material. You can find all you need on the EB website.

My MM case came with that stuff. I bought a SUB and then negotiated a case for $50!

My SR4 came with a little registration thing, a cloth, the little wrench thing, and a diagram on how to install a battery.

Oh, and of course, the Stingray.

Haha. Good thing, too. You gotta make sure you get those with the package. They're easy to lose, especially during the mayhem of packing and shipping. Make sure you're on top of everything when buying a bass! ;)

I'm glad someone started this thread.

NOTHING came with my Bongo, except of course the instrument itself in a nicely packaged box.

I mean, if I'm going to lay down $1149, least they could do would be to provide me with an allen wrench to fit the saddles. I had to go find my own. No cloth, no care instructions. Maybe that's why I got it for $1149 and not the $1600+ retail price....

I'm not disgruntled in the least. I LOVE this bass.

My Bongo came with a Bass Central mousepad, a Beaver Felton instructional video, an Ernie Ball polishing cloth, a set of GHS strings, and a registration card. It came in a really bad G&G case. Don't buy the G&G case if you get a Bongo from Bass Central.

As most, my Bongo didn't come w/ a thing except a delightful price tag of $1000 (small nick on the headstcok, gotta love it). My Stingray came w/ all the usual goodies and I just picked up a '94 Sterling w/ the original case and all of the original case candy (the plastic was still on the pickguard of the bass!)... pretty cool I think...
