The guitar is spectacular in every way and the Redburst finish is beautiful! What a well built instrument! New Music Man lover here!!!! Thanks for the warm welcome guys!! Well here is a pic from the stores website. I dont know if this is the exact one that I have on hold cause they said they had a couple Redburst JP6's for sale at one time but sold them. Mine was the last one left!! and im not sure if the pic is of mine or the one of the ones that were sold, but anyway here ya go!

Just a totally amazing ax. As I had stated in an earlier post I had bought one without ever playing it and the neck is just a bit thin for my taste and I was going to trade someone for an Axis for it.

Well I can kiss that idea goodbye as yesterday I was giving my 12 year old his lesson and he left his guitar at his friends and I told him to just pull something out of the closet and before I could catch myself (as he never saw it) and say wait I will get you an ax out came the Petrucci. Well lets just say it is in his room and has been confiscated.

Thanks gyus! Yes i am feeling the symptoms of BAS (which i am assuming is BALL aqusiition syndrome?!!). Yes stray it is an awesome guitar. The thin neck is perfect for me, I had already had a deposit on another guitar when I decided to give the JP a try, and that was it!! Im trying to get my son started on lessons also (he's 6 almost 7) and the JP can be his one day, or hopefully ill have a couple by then LOL!!!
