The black HB AL with the all-rosewood neck is definitely on my radar, though I cannot tell if I will be able to afford one this year.

I think I'm sold on the tobaccoburst HH AL...classy as hell and nicely allows the mahogany to show...but I might as well go for an opaque color, not sure yet. Coral and Seafoam are pretty damn fine as well.

Besides a BFR AL (which I have on my list for quite a while now) I could definitely see myself with a BFR Luke (preferably in a color that has a "non-black" back) or a chambered Y2D...who knows, the year has just begun!

As much as I'd love anything on the new line up, need to stick with my need list. Next will be either a new bass, silhouette, or second luke.

That Tobacco AL has me salivating. Having played a GR at Pete's I know how light it would be. I promised myself no more HH guitars this year, but man, I think I'm going to have to do it.

At the very least I will get a JPX. Other than that, I'm thinking of a 2H AL, and I'm waiting to see what else the EBMM guys have up their sleeves.

I hope a JPX is in the cards. Not likely now, but hopefully it won't be a limited release so I can snag one in the future.

I'll probably order a humbucker equipped AL. Whether with two or three pickups (if that's an option) I don't know. I like the powder blue and I like the blue in the Big Poppa AL thread if that is available, but I like every one of the finishes in the torture threads. I wouldn't mind having a SC equipped model in one of those colors.

Im leaning towards the black HH AL as well, but any surprises like maybe that Orange one BP showed several months ago may change my mind. We also haven't seen the Roasted Maple offerings yet... Just think, we will all know what is in store for us by this time next week.

Interesting to note that there isn't much interest in the coral Al. For me I think its the neck profile and frets that keep me from jumping. And of course I'm a sub man.

Sorry Mr. Duck, I try to stay neutral but his comments got under my skin (had a rough day yesterday, had to go take a test for my LEED certification, was brain dead).

Anyways back on topic, yea suprised at no love for the Coral, I think it is classic, anyways cant believe the amount of stuff BP is throwing at us and just check out the bass stuff as well, awesome, we are lucky people.

Waiting to get the Sea Foam is going to be tough.

The Reflex was at the top of my list but a mahogany body/RW neck hardtail AL with the Axis humbuckers is gaining ground. The vintage colors are all very cool.

I haven't read through all the posts in the NAMM guitar announcements - has the weight of these guitars been revealed? Mahogany gets a bad rap as a heavy, boat-anchor wood but I've played some Collings solidbody mahogany electrics that are super light. I prefer the lighter guitars if only for my aging back.

I think it really varies by the piece. I have a *cough* LP *cough* that is the lightest one I've ever played and I bought it (pre-25th purchase ). I've read that the really good pieces of Mahogany are getting harder to come by, so some of the heavy users of Mahogany are getting some real heavy pieces..I know because I've played some that almost pulled my arm out of the socket picking it up.

If it is anything like the gold roller, which I believe it is then it is going to be one of the most light weight, killer tone monsters ever, especially with the axis pups, my gold roller weighs in at 5'11" and sounds killer

Yea I bet that Coral would look awesome on a JP, and with BP you never know

If I had not already decided on Sea Foam, my next choice would be Coral.

I would love to see the Reflex in the same white as the new AL with gold hardware and a rosewood neck.
