As some of you may remember the EBMM Axis Super Sport I purchased a little over a month ago was stolen. My tech re-imbursed me and I went out seeking another. This time I went for the regular Axis. I purchased it from a dealer in NorCal who got it from a collector/hoarder. As the story goes this guy was quite wealthy and purchased literally hundreds of guitars and amps and NEVER used them. He even rented a condo next to his condo just to store them all. Weird.
But, guitars are meant to be played and this one is about to get a lot of use.
As confirmed by Ernie Ball, this beauty was made on October 4th 1996 making it quite "old" for an Axis. It's in perfect showroom new condition and still has the plastic on the back
Just took some photos and added them to my Flickr page. Check it out!
