Hi all, wanted to share some sights and sounds of my new Petrucci BFR in blue! This is my Jewish wedding band "Neshoma," and like all other gigs you can cut loose every once and a while-lemme know what you think!
I'm playing through a crybaby into a triaxis, g major 2, then into a powered monitor.
Thanks so much!
Ari

Thanks guys! Slav, thanks! I'm gonna need that Mazel (in the form of a cash bonus) to pay the credit card bill! I bought it a few weeks after I bought my morse y2d, planning on sending one of 'em back. But I love both so much I don't want to lose either one...I love the mids of the morse, and the petrucci has these beautiful highs (as well as incredible CLEANS and piezo sounds)...

You got it, Gilberto! My dad was born and raised in Israel, but his parents lived in Romania through World War II then left for North Israel! They then moved to queens ny (which isn't nearly as exciting..) :)
Hope you like the tone!

Slav, thanks bro! Where in Long Island are you? We're always looking for other great guitarists in theband...
Also, does anyone here have any advice/experience about playing the BFR while standing? Having a hard time figuring out how to position my right hand so I can play accurately. Just takes a drop of time getting used to...

If your talking about only your hand position and not your arm with the contour; the only advice I could give is to have you pinky right by and or almost over the bridge pup hole on the bottom, that should line your hand up nicely.
Another thing that might help is if you raise your strap up a little, and this will give your arm a little more support which will keep your hand hand from moving as much. It's all a matter of preference I guess. You will find your own with the guitar at some point

Ytsejam, I'll give those tips a try. Already raised my strap up, but I'll try the hand position thing. Am I alone in not being able to instantly adapt to the guitar's feel? Never had it like this in an axe before-only while standing though...ari
