New Pickups Axis SS

Hey guys
I have an Axis SS I love but have decided I am a humbucker guy. It has the P90s in it. Anyone ever try the SD humbuckers that fit in the p90 slots? Anyone know of any other pickups that will fit in these slots. I want more gain then the current pickups can offer.

Hmmmm

The P90's I had in my Godin LG Had a **** load of gain, But where noisy as hell!. I was about to change to seymour "stacked" P90's to solve this but i sold the guitar.... Check ou the specs on the duncan site

I had seen those. I think I will give them a try. They indicate it is really a bridge position pickup. I guess it is worth a try. The guitar plays so nice, I hate to sell it.
