Hello !

I want to change the pickups on my 1991 Silhouette (http://kury.free.fr/guitare/musicman) . Now, there's a EMG SL20 kit, a bit to... cold and surpowered for me. I wonder witch new pickups can I put on it. I play a blues/rock style.

Maybe:
Neck -> diMarzio Virtual Vintage ( 54' neck? Blues? Heavy Blues ? )
Middle -> ?
Bridge -> SeymouDuncan Antiquity ? I play this pickup on a Gibson Firebird an loved it... But on a Silhouette :confused:

Thanks for any help !

ciao

Seymour Duncan Antiquity Surfers for the neck&middle and SD Custom/59 hybrid for the bridge. Or Seymour Duncan STK-S4 classic stack plus for the neck & middle if you want noiseless

I'm installing Lollars in a S/S/H Axis Sport. Low output Tweed and Blonde models in the neck and middle positions (4.8k and 5.7k respectively with AlNiCo II magnets) and an Imperial in the bridge (9k). Fantastic pickups and I have Lollars in several other guitars. IMHO, they smoke just about everything else out there. Naturally, it depends on the type of tones you are going for as to which models would suit you and your style the best. I go for more traditional tones which means I need to use pickups with lower output.
