I'm not a huge DT fan, but I do love to watch Myung play! I had his Yamaha 6er for a while. The first one that he had with the infinity inlay. I was not impressed with that bass. The ergonomics just didn't work for me.

Pics are tricky in black and white that can only speculate about a potential color of signature model, and that the special (and perhaps already been signed) indicates skillfully hiding head stock, but it's good to see the extraordinary fret board dots, and very probable ebony fret board! ;)

No signature was mentioned, but possible changes to the BONGO 6 were, READ IT: from the MUSIC RADAR INTERVIEW...He's not a TOOL about retooling!

INTERVIEW

"You're famous for playing six-string basses. What models are you currently using? Do you see any changes to your instruments in the near future?

"That's a really good question. I've been playing a Bongo bass by Ernie Ball Music Man, and I've been experimenting with different neck and body dimensions over the last year. It's actually really hard to make changes when it comes to spacing and body mass - there's so much retooling that has to go on.

"But the company has been really cool in listening to my thoughts about where the bass needs to go in terms of body mass and neck spacing. Just a few weeks ago they sent me a combination that has really worked for me, so I hope it'll turn out to be a new model."

Brutal, ..in positive way, of course!

Never was a fan of DT, but I smell evolution and progress somehow, can't explain, but I can feel it!

After this new album and probably new tour, nothing will be the same in the bass world!

I smell 600% rise in sale of Bogo 6 basses!

See them Live...My pr guy was their pr guy at the time, took me to the Radio City Anniversary Show in NYC..you don't have to be into their music to appreciate them...I was blown away..these guys are cool, amazing..and so down to earth. Meeting them was incredible too...All their families were there.

Like I said..see them Live, and watch the Bongo Magic..o and the guitar player is pretty good too
