What a great looking pair. I'd played a black cherry burst in a store a couple of weeks ago, loved the colour. Congratulations!

The Orange bass is stunning.

I really lucked out with the SR5 as it is a one piece body. Its a gorgeous finish. I thought about getting a shell pickguard but actually like the black pearl with the orange.

For the SR4 I was considering a clear pickguard but I really like the way it looks wit the black.

IMO, black cherry burst also looks very good with a white perloid pickguard.

I bought some plastic polish today and will give the black pickguard a good buff tonight to see if it can be restored to new condition. I will advise of results.
