WOW. I'm really not a fan of the flat black hardware; I'm a chrome guy. If it had chrome everything, I'd very likely buy that guitar. That's one of the best Lukes I've ever seen.

What exactly are the differences between the 2019 Luke 3s and the most recent ones? I know it has the Transition humbucker which seems to have excellent reviews. Are the single coils noisy? I see it still has the dB preamp boost.

Also, how much did you pay? What do they usually go for?

I do have a 2019 Firemist Purple L3 and two L3 with the Music Man Custom Pickups.
I do like both Pickups but in comparison the Transition Pickups do sound muffled or otherwise the Music Man Pickups do sound more open with more clarity and they sound more balanced.
I clearly prefer the Music Man Pickups over the Transitions but I do prefer my Firemist Purple L3, there is definitely something special with this guitar. They should be very similar but I can tell the which is which from just touching them.
So I‘m actually selling my Cherry Burst Maple Top L3 and I would definitely buy a Firemist Purple one if I can find one.
I only have HH Guitars so I can’t say anything about the Single Coil Pickups.
