So I finally made a decision - logic told me to go with a solid color SR4 but somehow when the MF rep asked me what I wanted I blurted out "Stingray 5 honeyburst". I chose the maple fingerboard but I usually like rosewood - but with this color the maple looked better.

How does color combo look? Not having seen it in person I wondered if the rosewood would look better - but it was a close call. Any insight?

Wtf,I told you to get the black cherryburst!!!.......Nah, I'm kidding, honeyburst is a great finish. Probably a "Top 5" in anyones book. So you did good. As far as fingerboards go it looks great either way. Congrats!:)

Roballanson has a SR5 in honeyburst with a maple neck... I'll try and hunt down some pics and I'll be back... :)

That is a sweet bass!

Looking forward to getting the 5'er in the mail. Waiting for that brown truck pull-up with a brand spankin' new bass in there never gets old.
