I picked up a new 2005 plain jane White/RW Stingray for a really good deal and it is one ass kicking bass. It must be nearly 10lbs and to me the heavier the better. It is is heavey as my SR5's and sounds just as huge. Used it on the gig last night and it was so solid. The mind bender is that I was going to get a new Natural two band but this one beat all the other 7 Rays in the shop hands down for tone and playability. Thanks to the folks at EB again.

Um, it's WHITE. You can't keep a solid color bass, can you? Isn't there some kind of law? Maybe you'd better just send it to me now and we'll settle up later.

And GROW SOME HAIR, you FREAK!

Okay, just kidding about the hair thing. The rest of it, well, I'm serious.

What's the cute little bass rig?

The "cute" little bass rig is pretty dangerous. Please don't be fooled by it's harmless stature. I get lots of looks when I walk into clubs with a 210 cab, then they hear the Eden WT400 and a 4 Ohmm SWR Goliath Jr that dishes out 400watts of solid bottom. The same guys that were snickering at first want to talk to me about my rig on the first break. If it is a really big show, I'll bring the WT800 and two SWR 210 Goliath Jr's. With a SR5 or the Lakland 55-02, it can get very deep

Shall I try to hold my breath for as long as you keep the solid colored basses?

I bet I can get close!

That white Ray just looks like a mean one. I was just pulling your leg about the cute rig, too. I used one of those little cabs once and was impressed.

Still, write my name down next to the white Stingray.

Army bass has been courtmarshalled by General Poppa.........Only Bovine can barely get away with posting numerous pics of other brands. Also read his posts on TB regarding the Bongo. Latrine duty

Where was your SR5 on that gig?

BP, trust me, there is no bigger EBMM fan in the state of VA than I. My second job is as a salesman at a huge EBMM Bass dealer in Richmond and I/we sell lots of EB's. We had Albert Lee do an EB clinic for us on Thursday. What a sweet guy he is. I opened for him when he was playing with the Everly Brothers in the 90's and was amazed buy his playing and his charm. There could be no greater spokesman/artist for EBMM than Albert.

I promiss herewith to never post a pic of any other bass than an EB. That will be easy with the number of them that I go through. :D
