Hey guys. Just thought I'd join your group since I'm a recent convert to EBMM basses. I just happened to plug in a sterling at a local GC when I was out of town on a bussines trip and totally fell in love with it. I then picked up the honey burst sterling that you see in the pic used off of Ebay. When it finally arrived I plugged it in and found the meaning of true growl. I loved it so much I decided to sell my brand new American deluxe precision for another sterling. That's when I got the HH. I can't decide which one I like better. I don't have to tell you how perfectly shaped the necks are on these things and how great they sound. In fact I'm trying to decide, given the sound of the second from the rear position on the HH if there's any need to keep my American Jazz Deluxe or if I should trade it in for a HS. That's a decision for a different time I suppose. Anyway count me in as a BIG EBMM fan!

Welcome!

Nice basses. We have some true Sterling Freaks around these parts.

Some guy named Sterling, too. Weird, isn't it?

Welcome Goldfish. Nice basses. As someone's signature around here says so well ... "welcome to the addiction". :)

Sterling yes!

That HH is just beautiful. Dumbest thing I ever did was sell my Pearl Blue/rosewood Sterling. It was perfect, but I foolishly thought having the SR5 made it redundant. I'm going out on a limb here and hereby state that in my honest opinion, the Sterling is the best EB bass ever conceived .....should I duck for cover now or await howls of protest from the Bongo Brigade or the Stingray afficianados? OK, off to hunt for a Sterling.:)

Great basses you have there! I'm a Sterling fan myself as well. In fact I have one that looks exactly like your honeyburst, only with a different pickguard. There's definitely something special about these basses, they're just all around amazing.

Welcome!

Yes, get the HS also. You'll love the smooth neck PU to rest your thumb like the HH, but with more room to pop in front of the fretboard like the H. It's the best of all worlds!
