Yeah. I think that is what I will go with when I pull the trigger but with a maple board.

I'd love to try a fretless one. Does the name Reflex mean a particular thing about this bass? Or does anyone know the origins of the name, why Reflex?
Just curious

Just so no its not offered up as a potential reason, I'm 100% sure its not in reference to that awful Duran-Duran song. Just getting that off my chest.

Yeah, now we're talkin'! :)

I see the USA prices are slightly lower than over here, but I think it's just matter of shipping & handling, domestic high taxes in my country and probably "piece of cake" of my dealer :D !

Anyway, there's solid interest in my region for EBMM reflex basses, as far as I talked with other musician friends, but it's to early for many orders, 'cause of the huge economy recession over here at this moment!

P.S. ...one note for SLO people, now it's very obvious that start of the reflex production is already in Your domestic stores, so ...I wonder does anybody know approximately status of my white/maple_fb reflex 5 HH which is on order for my importer (Final Copy, ZG, Croatia)?
(any info/news over PM will be just fine to me)

Thanks for the heads up! Great pics by TPB, as usual.

And the gold top is killer, as I thought when I saw Craig's pics...

Which pick-up config for the Reflex?

I recommend the HSS , huge tonal variations, the singles in passive are sick,
and the bridge pkup being closer to the bridge is also a new tone wrinkle.
Definitely a model that covers a lot of territory. While mine are the 25th's
they have to be really close tone wise.

I've decided for HH, ...first I wanted single H, but later I realized that for just couple of bucks more I could afford myself a dual H!
H & HH have bridge H at "sweetspot" , ...so I believe that was the only reason for me to avoid HSS, ...I like to have standard "sweetspot" Music Man bass option on the new reflex, that's why! ;)

I have a white / rosewood / HH arriving in little New Zealand in December. Can't wait. That gold is looking pretty sweet at the moment though...

I really think the white with the black binding is elegant. But you also got to dig that gold, I mean, makes other basses weak in the knees just by glancing its direction.

Yeah I kinda like the tuxedo look of the white Reflex.

Oh yeah, oh yeah...I can't wait mine to arrive, like this one, just with maple f_board:
