I have to ask, though: Saturday gig I played through an Ampeg SVT II Pro and an Ampeg 4x10 that didn't look tike the HLF, and the B-string didn't happen at all. Is the HLF better?
The line out from the amp sounded great though, so I just turned the volume way down and got great bass sound from the 15" monitor in front of me. The sound guy really knew what was what![]()
I can't see myself lugging this stuff to many gigs.
This stuff is more like fixed furniture @ my place,
taken out for special/larger gigs. It's nice eye
candy in my rehearsal space but I I'll be looking
for an additional smaller/lighter set-up if the band
schedule ever blooms.
The 410HLF is an extended range cab ideal for
the low-B. It's heavy and not the easiest to
move around tho.
