Majesty string spacing.jpg Majesty string spacing.jpg

just to clarify from the start: not trying to post some issue or complaint is just a legitimate question that was asked a while back by the user Santuzzo as far as I remember and others noticed it too
hope is nothing against the rules, cause really this is not the idea :)

with the new saddles there where many noticing that after bends the string is not centered on the saddle , it's shifting its place and not coming back to the same position
as a result as you can see there is a very uneven distance between strings in the picking area (check the pic: right above the bridge pickup) btw the pic is a print screen from the official video with JP himself
I am asking : doesn't that affect playability and picking? is this "right" ? :))
honestly I would not be very surprised if in the near future MM will address this without making a big deal on it before "fixing" it :p

and as I said before don't get me wrong I am a huge fan of MM , I have nothing but respect for the instruments and how they treated me as a client, beyond my expectations :) and own a JP and owned before a couple of MMs

These new saddles are the main reason I returned a JP7 (made in 2014), and sought out one made in 2013 (with the older style saddles).

We can assume that Music Man has a good inventory of these saddles that they would want to use before instituting another change in design, but hopefully there are plans to do something about it. Some users had pointed out that the strings make better contact with the piezo pieces now, but that means nothing if the guitar is having strings go slightly out of tune left and right.

I also love the instruments and believe they are near perfection... only chiming in on this topic again because this is what would keep me from buying any new ones.
