I love EBMM, but most of the BFRs are in my opinion.... as well as most of the regular model colours.
I miss the days of having more than 2 choices.

I love the Sabre and StringRay, just wow! I get such a kick out of all the BFRs. It's like going to an art gallery and seeing a couple of paintings a month.

Both of the guitars look awesome! However, I have to question why the gloss finish on the necks? Once I tried the oil and wax combo, I found it hard to go back to anything else…

The Plum has binding around the fretboard and the Sabre has a burst on the fretboard edges, both of which require a protective finish.

I'm a big fan of the oil wax treatment as well, but haven't had any issues with the poly finished necks feeling "sticky" like older guitars from other manufacturers.

I think they’re all stunning. The Sabre HT Duello shares a lot in common with the Spice Melange finish on the Majesty, like the burst on the fretboard. I love that look. At first I thought the Slugger BFR bass from last year was making an encore, but last year’s Slugger Stingray was a 5 string. A very tasteful look.

I'm somewhat surprised they went with a gloss finish. I have a BFR Axis with bound fretboard edges, and while it has a poly finish, it's satin, and feels closer to the oil/wax treatment.

I'm personally not a fan of gloss necks (although I have one instrument with one and it's certainly playable), but to each their own.
