Aloha folks.. I'm RJ Kaneao and I'm a EBMM / SBMM artist and I've just released a new single available on iTunes.. It's my first attempt in the international Blues genre as my four prior solo albums has been in the island and reggae genres but I'm happy and excited to make this crossover.. Here's a link to the new single that's a prelude teaser to the full album that's in full-swing production rightnow.. So please check it out when you got a minute.. Much mahalo (thanks) from Hawaii.. RJ "Kaye" Kaneao..
Ps.. All guitar work was done with my One-Off Custom made Albert Lee SSS done up in a "Mary Kaye" Strat color scheme in honor of my great Aunty "Mary Kaye"..
The Wah is a EBMM wah pedal
Bass is an SBMM Ray35

It has a pleasant 70s vibe. I can imagine learning to play it from Roy Sakuma back in the day.

Very nice!

The iTunes clip has a nice early Eagles feel mixed in with a hint of Ronnie Milsap. I agree with Eilif, '70s vibe going on. Smooth. Vocals and guitar tone are very complementary.

@Eilif @edhalen @canuck6string @ozzyrules thanks you so much for all of your kind words.. It's scary going into a new genre when my whole career wS in whole different genre.. But I believe in the saying "you don't choose the blues but the blues chooses you." I have so much passion for music in general but the blues is extra special.. It's the bassist for almost every type of music.. It's amazing and I'll do my best to keep the blues going.. Aloha RJ
