Hello to one and all!

Just joined a new band after a few years out and have just recorded a track with them. Was wondering if i could have your honest opinion on it?

The song i play on is called New love New Version. I recorded it with my Stingray 4 and was recorded by the guitarist from the band. It was a final assessment for a college course he's on and we got studio time for nothing was fantastic.

Thanks for listening!
Matt.

I liked it! I was reminded of a band that you probably never have heard of called Blodwyn Pig. This is a good thing in my opinion. Good stuff!

Cool Indeed..very reminiscent of a vital time for the emerging late 60's hard-edged blues-rock sound...there were a bunch of cool spin-off bands like BP, tho most were short lived. Cactus was another fave..that spun off yet again..

Sniff..I can still smell the tar in those old Sunn and Sound City output transformers percolating....

Thanks for taking the time to have a listen!

I was mic'd up and also went DI. I think the stingray sounds cool on the recording. It's the first time i've actually recorded with it so was extremely chuffed to bits with it!
