Here it is...

i dont know why i've waited so long to get a ernieball. its the sound that i've always been looking for but could never get with current basses.

i picked this wonderful bass for a cool $800.

anyone know where i can get a black pickguard for it, i'm really not liking the "worn copper" pickguard on it right now...
you guys think that 30 bucks for a brand new black one, shipped, is a good price for one??.

thanks guys.

Very sweet bass. $800 is a nice deal too, it looks mint.

Just in case you dont know, there arent huge numbers of those floating around. That color never went into production to the best of my knowledge.

Tort would be killer on that bass.

Hey PT ~ you didn't happen to score this from a seller in San Rafael, CA?

Welcome to the forum!

Even though a black p/g would look really good on that bass, it's so unique with the washed copper that I can't imagine that you wouldn't keep it on there. Whatever you do, don't let the copper guard get away. If you ever decide to let it go, it will probably bring more with the original p/g on it.

i'm real excited about the rarity of the color too

i dont think i'm going to change the pickguard because everyone i've asked said to leave it.. and if i do decided i'm going to keep it for maybe later use.

+1,000,000.

Sweet looking bass with almost any PG, I would imagine. Enjoy!
