I have a new bass coming that I'm pretty excited about. It's not a current Stealth model, but it kind of has the look.

Check this out (be sure to read the description). They had it advertised incorrectly. Based on Gav's site, this is a very early one - probably '80:

Year: 1985 (Circa)
Make: Music Man
Model: Cutlass I
Case: None
Color: black
Condition: Very Good
Price: $
Description: 1985 Music Man Cutlass Bass in a cool black finish. This is another of the many items that we received from Cliff Williams; bass player for AC/DC. This bass features a black PG, medium frets, 1 active Humbucker, a cool graphite neck, and is in very good+++ condition. The bass has a golf ball sized area of buckle rash that goes down to the finish, many light scratches on the back, and a couple bumps here and there. Call for an exact in hand description. Made in the US, black plastic original hardshell case included.
I'm not usually into the celebrity thing, but this is pretty rare with the 3-bolt neck and string-thru body.

I got it yesterday and it's sweet!

The body is dated '79 and the neck is '84. Maybe the Cutlass neck was added for Cliff after the fact to a previous '79 Stingray - who knows.

It came in the original triangle/teardrop shape case. The case had shipping labels all over it, and Cliff Williams' home address in Florida.

The case had "Bass #1" and another B00 serial number on the outside. I wonder if that could be the sunburst '77 Stingray that seems to be his primary bass (at least from back in the 80's)
