YES! ... but, in a sincere, good, loving your basses way.:D

Since you crowned me “King of Lefthanzia” I feel I must speak on behalf of my left hand subjects and request the deliverance of the new Two Pickup models in the left hand orientation, for our small but very dedicated group of EBMM aficionados.

I will gladly order the first of such instruments, and brag and gloat until righties buy a few lefties to shut me up.

Big Poppa you know you are the only authority on this planet I recognize, shall your will be done?

I hope you're not gonna get all uppity like that little german guy and pull a leftensraum on us inburrito southpaws to enlarge your kingdom. :p

Geez Chuck, you'd probably be up there with some of them Catholic nuns I've heard about. Away with thy ruler.

That's beautiful Randy. The Sterling preamp is REALLY hot isn't it? The tort p'guard looks very nice with the wood. (reminder: I gotta switch mine back to tort.)

My time with 4 stringers is done. :D

I'll be all over a Sterling 5 though.

Andrew
Being that your main bass is an SR5 I would say that a Sterling would be more to your liking than the Stingray you just go rid of.......if you ever want to try a four string again that is;) I now have an SR4,SR5 and a Sterling and I love them all for different reasons.Kind of like my wife and kids:D

Oh I want an H/S Sterling alright, Trans Gold, matching headstock, Tort and in a lefty I'll pay right now! The Single coil in my Bongo 5 is the BEST I've heard! I may get banned for this but I'd like to see a S/S configuration on a Sterling!

But I’ll be a happy man, yes even happier than I am now, when (of if:( ) the two pickup models grace the lefty’s…:D

I just picked mine today. I had a Fender Jazz 24 but it didn't have the low end that I was looking for but the neck size was perfect for my hands. Tried G&L, too, but I couldn't deal with their standard neck width (1 3/4") and waiting for a custom neck was just too much to bear!
I found HS Sterling at a local GC but I had some reservations since some guys will pull a bass down and hammer the heck of the floor models. However, the Sterling was way up on the wall so it was hard to get at so I guess I was the only one who noticed it.
Had the sales guy bring it down and I spent 5 minutes on it, just checking it out to make sure that the neck was straight and the strings weren't 5 inches off the fingerboard. Then, took a few days to decide what to do then decide to pull the trigger today.
Again, the sales guy had put the Sterling way up the wall again, ensure that no one could get their hands, before I had a chance to come back.
It is SOOO SWEET to play so now, I have gotta do some serious work to do but, at least, it will be fun!!
BTW, the Sterling has a natural finish with an ash body and maple fingerboard...it is sooo nice!
