Just got a new piezo stingray, lovely an all and i love the sound, but i get a sort of modulation when using the piezo pickup, like a short early attack like room reverb and then a clear wobbling modulation, any thoughts?

I doubt I can really help but I'll ask these questions to maybe get the ball rolling for you. You could also call Ernie Ball customer services I suppose. Make those folks earn their keep :)

Questions:

1) What kind of strings do you have on the bass? Some strings don't like piezos.

2) Do these problems occur with only the piezos selected or when a blended with the magnetic pickup?

Thanks

Thanks i was a bit worried that after some of the recent 'issues' people would just run away from a thread with potentially 'negative connotations', but rest assured the bass is great and i love it. And it got me through a gruelling six hour late night session last night, after only being mine for about two hours!
I use elixir strings, and it occurs when the piezo is solod or mixed, however i think i may have a clue, not had time toinvestigate yet but it seems to do it when running through my fx, i dont THINK it does it straight to the amp, ill find out later.
I go from a samson airline wireless into a boss bf2 flanger ce2 chorus, boss tu2 tuner, boss vwah, zoom 506.
Ill post some pics soon

I'd bet 99.9% it's your wireless, I've been through so many wirelesses it's not funny and found out when it comes to basses 4 ,5 or 6 string basses you MUST NOT SETTLE, YOUR JUST GONNA HAVE TO SPEND THE MONEY. I use a shure R series, which runs around $2500 street price, List for 4K. That fixed all my wireless Problems and all the wierd stuff from any basses. Good Luck. DJ

It could be those strings. We have had piezo issues with some kind of coated strings and the lack of a ground at the saddles due to the coating. Try a different string.
