Inspired by our own Dizzy and his wonderful Silo solo work in his "Sultans of Swing" video, I have a Silhouette HSH on the way. I haven't had a guitar around the house since I sent back an autographed, rosewood board Albert Lee that I had borrowed from someone (I digress.) Anyway, it's white/maple/natural/trem and I can't wait to get it. Now, I just wish I could play the guitar.

the fat-fingered EBMM bassist,

Wow - That's awesome news !

You're going to love it mate, such great guitars.

Mine felt like an old friend from the day I got it.

I love that guitar - If I was a somebody in the music scene, it'd be known as "Whitey"

:)

White is so under rated. And it looks great with ANY pickguard. Which pickguard are you choosing?

I Love SiLOs

Knowing him, I'd have to say yes---just like those other two unmentionables from the recent past.

if there is a lens cap i would be more pissed off..........I wonder if Tyler is going to ebay his other ebmm's?

To clarify, the Silhouette HSH on route to me has a history, is that right? Or are we talking about numbnuts' guitars?

I don't think Tyler would sell his EBMM's. I have a feeling they're going to wind up on some future recordings even if they don't get credit. I'm keeping tabs on them, for what it's worth. He really likes the Silhouette Special SSS I bought him before I knew he had a secret deal with Fender going. I now understand his reaction when I gave it to him. I can't think about this too much or it consumes my thoughts and ruins the day, to be honest.

I also need to start looking for a gig, while I'm thinking about it. The local gigs are going to suck after this last run. I may just play with my CD's and Garage Band from now on. Oh well, you never know. "Always look on the bright side of life!" I'm gonna stay positive. Tyler is still a friend who has made some colossal errors in judgment due in no small part to some equally colossal bad adult influence. I'm out of the inner loop now, so I'm sure I'm missing several pieces. I still sincerely hope he's successful. Maybe he'll need me to play for him again sometime. I hope so. I did wear one of my Ernie Ball shirts to last night's last gig, and changed out of my sweaty clothes into another Ernie Ball shirt after we were done.

Oldtoe, I commend you for your positive approach on this whole thing. You're a better man than I when it comes to these things. I guess it doesn't help me that I'm Italian though.

Ben, your going to love the silo, congrats..........................big props for the way your handling the situation. I just don't get the Tyler situation. He had people who truly cared about him, were giving him advise and helping him for FREE.
