Pots do not sound very much... you loose seme treble with 250k pots. The disadvantage of linear pots is a very quick and strong volume drop at one point turning the knob. Until that point you can turn the knob quite a bit without loosing much volume at all.

Yours is definitely the Textured Red. A lot of our colors can take on different looks depending on the lighting. That picture of cinnamon looks really brown. I'll see if I can find some pics in different lighting.

Here is the Cinnamon compared to Red:

Aziah, first off - thanks very much for the prompt response. I think it's great you folks are monitoring these forums so closely. It's probably safe to say that these aren't "just" guitars for most EBMM owners - they're objects of passion. Even though I've only had mine for a couple weeks - I LOVE IT, it's a delight to play. And to have this active participation from the folks who are directly responsible for creating them makes it more special.

I can tell already, my SUB1 will not be the only EBMM I will own...

Anyway... I'm not in a position to argue about the color - if you say it's red I''l believe you, but... It sure looks more purple/plum to me - I imagine you saw the lead photo in the thread, it's pretty close to accurate. I see hints of the color in the edge of the cinnamon photo - although not really on the front.

Regardless - thanks again, your feecback is greatly appreciated.

Steve
