New to forum! Axis pics & Trem Block question.

Hey guys & gals, I just bought an Axis a couple nights ago. I played 1 at GC and fell in love with the neck & how nice it plays and then found one used in mint condition. I'm going to put a brass trem block in it from Floydupgrades and I just wanted to know have any of you put them in and how do you like it? Did you use the regular or will the L-Block fit? Thanks for any input!! Here's a couple pics. I'll also include a pic of the tremolo, I'll buy the L-Block if it will work but the guy at FUpgrade said he wasnt sure if it would fit.

That neck is awesome! It’s nothing like mine. I just have a small amount of Birdseye. That Axis must be an early 00’s or late 90’s.

i would measure the block using a millimeter ruler. The Gotoh trem is made in Japan and the dimensions will be more accurate if you measure in mm.

as long as the screw holes in the top of the block line up with the baseplate and the depth matches you should be good.

Thanks guys! Its a 2000. I never would have thought I'd like a guitar with such a small neck but I love this thing!! Ive always went for the wide fat Les Paul type necks but this one feels great. I went ahead and just ordered the standard oversized brass block.

Has'nt anyone put one of these blocks on their guitars? I have one on the way, but I was hoping some would say they make an improvement.
