Hi folks,
I’ve been busy finishing a basement, traveling for work, attending to some family stuff, and other time consuming activities that have kept me away from the forum. I’ve checked in from time-to-time, but haven’t posted in over a month. I just spent the past hour catching up on the forum – so glad to be back!!!! It’s a great community.
I snagged a used 20th Anniversary Silhouette w/Piezo several weeks ago that had to return to EBMM for a repair. EBMM CS was fantastic and I got the guitar back quickly in perfect working order. I was debating the 20th given that the 25th seemed so promising, but I really wanted a Piezo pickup in my next guitar. I also wanted to hear/play the 25th before buying. Having read the posts on the 25th today and watched some great videos …I’m wondering if I made the best decision

I do like the 20th quite a bit…it’s a fantastic guitar. I played it with my band at our last practice and it has great tone. Overdrive sounds awesome on this guitar. Cleans sound very good as well.
Here are a few pics (in the newly finished home office). Incidentally, I nearly chose to mimic the 20th Silhouette’s guitar case colors for the three tone paint in the office. I found some paints that matched the saddle brown leather ends and the main case color. It didn’t look as good on the wall though with the white trim. I think my wife was about to toss me out the window when she saw me putting a color wheel against the case
