Sure is.

I'm having a lot of fun with it. Still tweaking the action. Set the bridge for down only, and put 10's on it (slinky of course).

Anyone have any issues setting their luke up for 10's and lower pitch only on the trem? Can't seem to get it dialed (and I know it's me, because it was perfect floating with 9's).

Interesting you're doing that... the Luke's trem is one of the best floating one's available ... so good, that it actually convinced me to incorporate it

And Big Mike... didn't you once say you had an old Valley Art's axe (just curious.. was that here?)

Well, I've got several other floaters. i want the stability. Though if i can't dial it, I may try it. Or god forbid I get a pro to do it (i haven't done this stuff consistantly in years).

No old valley arts for me. I'd LOVE a robot guitar. I do have one of Brad Gillis' old Fernandes superstrats though. Fun guitar.

thats how i have mine, 10's and trem flat to the body. never have any problems with it. i hardly ever get a yearning to use the trem anyway, most of my guitars are set the same, its only a small adjustment if i feel like using the trem at a gig cos i have to. i do plenty of country-ish bends that i need the strings to hold their pitch when i'm bending different strings. but i guess thats why they invented the good ol' hardtail!!!!

Exactly. I love the trem for textures but I never pull up on it though.

I do TONS of faux steel bends and such. Big David Grissom fan so lots of that comes in.

I'm getting closer....Just trying to figure out what I screwed up. LOLOL

Maybe you need to add another spring?

Good suggestion. I always like to work from too much tension down to less when I increase a string gauge. I find it easier to get it working that way (you know, easier to pull off a spring if there's too much tension than to put one on with the strings fairly tightened AND easier to adjust the trem claw after the spring tension is close - but that's just me!)

All I have to say is be careful with those springs. The pliars and guitar finish don't get along well.

Yeah, got the spring in. Having trouble dialing the string height vs. neck bow and buzzing thing.

Likely time to take it to a pro. I'm WAY outta practice. LOL Got it closer though...
