Hey guys I'm new to the forum, all the way from Sydney Australia.. I recently picked up an EBMM Silhouette Special Limited Edition 2006. Just wondering if anyone on the form owned one. Or what people think of them

hey there fellow Aussie! Is your LE Silo Special the one with trem, 2 single coils and 1 humbucker? If so its the only one in the country, and i played it a few weeks ago too! Black with gold looks sexy, but it just wasnt for me. great axe though.

yup thats the axe! many congrats!!

i asked about that axe a few weeks ago, and a shop down here in melbourne had it shipped down for me to try out, good thing i didnt buy it! Hope you enjoy it, but if you ever want to sell it be sure to let us know........

Apparently there were two shipped into Australia, oddly enough the same store sold both lol. These things are rare as, one of the shop sales guys said he tryed phoning dmazio to get a set of the same pickups as in my axe, they said we dont make them. Obviously only meant for that axe, custom wound etc

cool, so you have one of the two! Good job! Yeah the pickups are custom Dimarzio, GREAT tone, I love them a lot.

So what amp do you play it through? I'm assuming its your first Ernie Ball guitar.....

Yeah it is my first. I have a 50th Anniversary Strat, a maton ms500, a Garrison G50CE semi-acoustic, a Goddin SX and am paying off a Ultrablue burst Maton MS2000DLX. The amp I have at the moment is a little 60watt H&K Blue
