New to the forum....
Today I ordered my Luke iii HH in olive gold, rosewood neck at GC. Comes in by the end of next week.
I recently sold my 94 strat and was looking to pick up a new one. While I was shopping I plugged a Luke iiii into a deluxe reverb and was blown away. Couldn't be happier...

The luke3 is better than any guitar I've ever played. Covers almost all the bases, all the positions sound great clean or dirty. Welcome! Make sure to post a picture when it arrives!

Welcome aboard!

Great choice on guitar. The LIII is also my favorite model.

I own(ed) lots of Gibsons, Fenders, even PRSs.
So far, the L3 has been the ONLY guitar where all PU switch positions sound great, and make sense. And the ergonomics are better than on any other guitar. I just wish I'd play better, to do it justice.

Welcome to the forum! I am one who likes to mod his guitars, yet the Luke III is absolutely perfect as it is from the factory. Enjoy your Luke...olive gold is a beautiful color.

Thanks everybody!!
She arrived today. Beautiful, sounds great, only one string out of tune (Massachusetts to indiana????). Neck not quite as v contoured as I expected, and the boost knob was down towards the body so far the knob wouldn't even turn...easy adjustment.
There was no paper work or tags of any sort in the case. I was emailed the receipt and inside the case was a guitar and trem bar. Is that normal?
