Hello, I thought I’d introduce myself. I’ve been checking out this forum for sometime now and I’ve finally decided to get a Stingray. I’m tired of playing boring F*nders all of the time. I recently played a few Stingrays at a local Guitar Center and fell in love with how they sounded. I’m currently looking for a slightly used Stingray for $800-650. So if you know of any, let me know. Thanks

Kyle

I've tried a few Bongos and I didn't really like how they felt and sounded :o I don't hate them, just not my thing I guess. But thanks for all of the welcomes and hopefully I'll find a Stingray to call my own real soon.

Hi rowyco - welcome to the forum. Just in case you're interested...I have a very, very, very slightly used StingRay (practically brand new) on eBay right now and the auction ends in a few days. The "Buy It Now" price is $999 and the reserve is less. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4713&item=7300391459&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Nice bass! I have a black/rosewood Stingray with a abalone p/g that I've had for about a year that's barely been played. It absolutely looks brand new too. I have been thinking about putting it up on the auction block because I don't play it at all anymore. It just sounds so darn good and plays so easily that I can't make myself let go of it. I have a few more basses that I think I will cut loose before that one goes.
