Ok you guys might like this. Lenny is a great vocalist and I tuned my Sub to drop b for this which confirms my thoughts of wanting either a 7 stringer or a baritone. There is one more player here adding texture on those chimey chords.

Also played my Sub 4 tuned down so maybe I need a fiver as well. When does it end lol. Anyways here is the link. Critique the mix welcome.

Slingy, the Sub is ON FIRE there.

Love that rhythm playing, and the tone.

What gauge you using for the drop B, and how does it feel?

Thanks. It's set up for 10's and it feels like a floppy mess and really wont stay in tune much like this. I'm gonna go up to 11's and set it up that way properly. Probably time to get those locking tuners now.

Might I suggest the Skinny Top/Heavy Bottom Slinky strings?

I'm quite familiar with Drop B (All I used for a long time). These were perfect for the low end chug + shredability on the highs.

Thanks for the tip, I may just do that. I just had a nut installed for 10's. I wonder if it is feasable to have a spare nut for a different gauge and just tap in a new one?

Slingy, I liked the song and I thought the mix sounded great. If you don't mind me asking, who mixed the song? Did you use your X3 and ez drummer?

Man, hit me up if you want to do a collaboration.

Thanks Ed. You can use the free Riffworks T4 to join some of these if you want. I'm using Pod Studio and I did the mix. Just some instant drummers I do have the EZDrummer but it doesn't work for collaborating.

I really like playng low but not sure I want to set up my Luke or Super Sport for it. Actually I think the lower gain Sub pickups work just fine.

Yep, great track again.

Lovely rumble to the low end, yet still tight sounding.

Very nicely played.
