I like your stuff! The only suggestion I will make is spice the drum tracks. A couple of fills here and there would enhance your excellent bass work. The fretless tone on “Browne Sownd” is absolutely killer, really good stuff! :D

Great stuff...

My only comment would be to bring up the lower-register bass track on "Laguna". It might be my cheap headphones, but I was wanting to feel it more and kept losing it in the mix.

Dug all your tracks, as always... and yes, to spice up the drum tracks would make them a touch more musical and less sounding like a bass player with a drum loop :)

I'm really digging it, Pete! Very mellow and relaxing, it's fantastic to listen to it here at work.

BTW, I'm completely with Beth... it's relaxing and very nice to have on during other tasks... some musicians hate it if their music is considered a good "background sound", but I found that it is very difficult to acheive this quality without slipping into overly repetitive and thus boring compositional structures.

I'd love to have a a CD full of such relaxing, bass centered music.

thanks Oliver!!

that's actually one of the things I'm going for with it, more incidental/soundtrack type music. One of the phrases, funny as it may be, that I might use to 'market' with in explaining the music is "music to blog to"

Way Cool, Pete. It certainly strikes me as soundtrack music. Man, you've come a long way since the CD I did for you a couple of years ago.
