Hello my fellow Knuckleheads....My Trans Black Tribute is arriving Thursday.....and I thought I would make a little quick video describing how I feel.....since I am a bit disappointed in its later arrival date...than I originally expected......However, here it is...One take....Pentatonic licks....not that great...but maybe worth a quick listen....!! Please Comment on anything!!....This retirement stuff can be boring sometimes!!!
Sorry threeminutesboy, maybe next time......I really am lazy and hate recording myself......and I made that quick background loop and did one take...... I thought without drums or bass...the distortion tone would get washed up!! Thanks for watching and commenting!!!!
T-Show, once again you have done a great job. I'v been playing quite a bit more since we last spoke and your channel has great stuff.
What can I say about your playing that I haven't already said. I can listen to this on a loop. You seem to extract such soulful notes. Recently I've been playing the "overworked blues".
Thanks again mtrejo for your inspiration....just play a few minutes every day......Remember players ... Play...And collectors.....just collect...Let's do both!!! Give this video a listen through some ear buds or head phones...I just did, and the tone of the Axis really comes through.. I will probably start giving free lessons on you tube soon....fyi.....Keep in touch my friend!!!
No more Fed Ex Blues......., cuz I don't have to work there any more!!!! Actually, UPS has done a great job getting my Balls here in nice condition!! Tomorrow, Trans Black will show up too!!!! Did you place your BFR order yet?
Nice, I can feel your pain in those notes. You should make a funky video, once your guitar has arrived to catch the excitement of the UPS delivery truck appearance.
Ok, I'll admit that when you mentioned pentatonics, I almost skipped the video. I'm glad that I didn't as you kept it interesting. Nice percussive tone that you squeeze out of that guitar. It's always a pleasure to hear your stuff.
As far as a funky tune goes, I posted a jam tune in this forum that I did with guys from the bass forum but didn't seem to get any interest. Maybe it will be up your alley. Or not. Anyway, great job!
Thanks acwild...I appreciate your honesty and comments.....I am not really a funk player either. However, I am trying to learn to be a little bit more jazzy though in my Rock lead attempts......I will post a video soon...give it a whirl... THANKS FOR LISTENING!!!!
