Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum, and it seems like a nice place you've got yourself here - I'm especially impressed with Poppa Ball himself participating - although it is a bit disturbing with all you guys buying, selling, talking about and looking at each others balls. :D

Anyway, I come from Denmark (smallest country in scandinavia) where there is very few musicman guitars to go round - I've only managed to find about 10 in the country, only 1 of which was for sale, and that just got snatched in fron tof me. So I was wondering if any of you guys had any idea where I could find a used EBMM Axis for sale? I would be happy with either an Axis or Axis super sport, but it has to have bindings and it has to be black or transparent gray black. Preferably with a trem og hardtail, but floyd is also acceptable.

Anyway, if any of you guys had any ideas where I could find one, it would be much appreciated - I've trawled through the net for days, and I thought I had struck gold when I saw your "Musicmans for sale" thread, with a black axis SS - I emailed the seller, and it got sold 2 days ago. :(

Edit: Of course, there is always the option of buying a random colour axis or axis ss and having it repainted - or is that considered a sin?

Thanks in advance, best regards
Rasmus.

Hi, Rasmus. You should be able to find a suitable MM guitar here, if you're patient.

As far as re-painting: you buy it, you own it, you do whatever you want with it. I had intentions of doing a few mods on mine even before I got one, but after I got it, I didn't want to change a thing.

Hello Rasmus

Welcome aboard.
Denmark is near Germany where are located quite a lot of forumites. I am sure they can help you for finding your Axis in Germany. By the way, we are all Europeans ... so France, Germany, Denmark ... it's the same country.

Hi Ras
Welcome
Stick around and I'm sure some will crop up on the "For Sale" thread.
A lot of our American buddies seem to have tax repayments coming to them and a lot are itching to buy a new BFR or a new LE08. So there's a lot of shedding (not shredding) of guitars right now.
You could try Dave in Machinehead UK or take a look at this thread

They are both new. The purple one is almost half price!!!

Spud: I've mailed the shop and asked if they still have the red one. Thanks!

Colinboy: Thanks! You wouldn't happen to know GerryD (the user) here, do you? I think he resides in Derry.

Hi Beth, and thanks! Trouble is, that nobody in my country knows anything about EBMMs, and the only ones who does, won't part with theirs! Anyway, since nobody knows anything about the brand, there aren't any shops willing to order a few so I could try it out, since they will have a lot of trouble selling it - it isn't called a Fender or Gibson, so it can't be a good guitar, right? ;)
