Hi All.

I've just bought a Valentine model joined this forum.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the 4 different turnable screws inside the electronics cavity do?
I know that one of them adjusts the amount of boost for the volume push-push knob but I can't figure out the rest.

Thanks,

Alan

I got a Valentine a few months ago and love it... Congrats!

A few others and I discussed just his topic on another thread... there are some pics, etc... Here's the link: http://forums.ernieball.com/ernie-ball-music-man-guitars/63586-question-valentine.html

But the basics, from my understating, are the screw with BST next to it controls the boost level on the push/push of the volume nob... which applies to all pickup positions.

The one with COM next to it, another member said, controls the combined pickup volume... to balance things when going from positions 1/3 to 2... I assume. Mine sounds fine so I haven't adjusted it.

The other two... one has a N (Neck) and the other has a B (Bridge) next to it... these are the silent circuit adjustments. You can control the amount of noise that is filtered out on each pickup individually(on the neck pickup this only applies with the coil split engaged, obviously).

Hope this helps... and enjoy it!!

What edhalen said. I'm afraid by forum rules your guitar is deemed fictitious. We'd like to see it, please. ;)

Here she is with a new amp I just got.
What a pairing.
I had a problem with the push/push it so it's only back now.
