Just for fun, I had a former student of mine sing on Paramore's "Decode" while I played the other parts and Logic did a nice job on the drums. :) The video isn't going to win any director's awards, but it does show some nice EB guitars throughout which is more interesting than just a mp3. :) Enjoy....

Paul, that was awesome! That girl has a really good voice. I'm digging the solo too, I like how you changed it up. Lots of awesome TB and Dargie Bongo action in there!

Paul, I am usually a fan of prog and fusion, haven't heard of Paramore until now  but:
that is better than the original for sure :)
instrumental is for sure way above and IMO this girl has a voice twice better than the original, she just have to work a bit here an there :p
your solo fits perfect

Thanks everybody!

The chicken makes the video special for my wife. She has about 20 in our backyard and is quite the local expert on them. And what's not to love about a random chicken? :)

DrGonzo, I used Logic and just a simple little M-Audio firewire interface. Honestly, this song was a project to help me learn more about the software because I'm still sort of new at it and there's nothing like jumping into things to learn them. The mixing and mastering was done by a friend of mine who is going to run a small studio we're building at my academy. He is MUCH better at Logic. :)
