Finally got the video back that the studio shot of us while recording our song In Vain back in January. The're a good bit of Musicman usage in this video. Nothing really special about how it was made, they just ran around us with some cameras while we laid the tracks down. Hope you enjoy it.

No worries Josh, I actually had a ton of things come up so I wouldn't have been able to make it this weekend at all. There will be plenty more time for some grillin'!

Great song and a killer bass!

Yeah!

I'm surprised, in positive way of course! ;)

I'm an older male :D and don't prefer such a music genre, but good stuff is a good stuff!

This Your 4 banger rocks like 5ver!!! Do You use octaver effect, or detune E string to D or what?

Awesome song!!! My only questions is when can I buy the album?!?!? Once it is done please let me know.

The album should be ready at the beginning of the summer. We're having it remixed, then it will be available for download and on CD. I'll let yall know when it is available.

Thanks for the compliment! As far as effects, the only effect I used was a chorus pedal, and then I ran straight into the board. It is tuned to drop D however, and I used Ernie Ball Hybrid strings on it. The bass run in the middle part was actually played a little different than the video lets on lol. I played that entire song with a pick and in the 1st position to give it a strong punchy sound, but I didn't like how that sounded on the clean part. I played the clean part finger style on the middle position with the highs rolled of just a hair. If you watch the video, and watch my expression, you can tell I screwed that bass line up during that take. This is the video of me fixing that bass line [nomedia="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBPMioC0yrw"]YouTube- In Vain - Bass Riff[/nomedia] And in case any of yall didn't catch it, my guitarist was using his Musicman JP6. It's amazing how well these instruments sound together. We only used our EBMM's to record the entire album.

Absolutely phantastic, Jimmy! That's the kind of band I'd always wanted to be in. Great singer, great songs, and enough space for a big fat bass line. I can imagine you guys kick Nickelback's a$$ in a couple of years...

I would love the opportunity to kick Nickelbacks ass, and still there women too Oli! Strummer, thanks for the compliment on my playing, and honesty. I know I can't please everyone with music I write, but I have fun doing it!
