Well I had a little extra coin to play with so I started hunting for another JP6. I found a great deal, but the guy backed out. I was pretty pissed until I came across a better deal. This is a brand new EBMM Steve Morse Y2D. It is outstanding. The neck is killer and the pickups rule. Tons of tones in this thing. The bridge pickup is hot as hell with tons of balls and harmonics. The neck pickup could possibly be my new favorite. It is super smooth and fluid. And the single coil adds a lot of versatility for stratty stuff and cleans. This thing is fantastic.

Amazing guitars indeed! I Love the pickups myself. How cool is that purple sunset in person? Seriously one of the most beautiful finishes ever!

Fantastic. Sucks when someone bails on a deal ... but there's always a better one around the corner. Congrats!

The pickups are definitely amazing for all kinds of stuff. I also hear that they sound really good in coil split mode. I am going to do this mod next week to split both the neck and bridge with a push-pull tone pot for additional 3 options.
