Newbie Here !

[The Musicman]

I will be buying a M.M Silouhette later on in the year and have decided to go with a maple neck, teal paint and moonstone or a black pearloid scratchplate. Only problem is my local guitar shop does not stock M.M guitars anymore, i played nearly every model when they used to have them in stock. The Silhouette being my favourite. To the question...Does anyone know where i can see a good picture of the above Silhouette on the internet ?

I bought a lefty just like that from the USA on EBay, but since I thought I didn't really need it I sold it on 2 weeks later and have regretted it ever since.
EBMM teal is a beautiful colour.

Hi guys, thanks for the warm welcome and the pics ! Man, that teal Silhouette with the abalone pickgaurd is one fine lookiong guitar. As i live in the U.K, the places where i can buy an M.M in an actual shop are very limited. As i said my main guitar shop stopped stocking them early this year , so looks like i will be buying over the internet (there are a few online shops i know of in the U.K that have a good reputation).

...as for the username, i was lucky to get it on an Ernieball forum. I go under this name in all of the forums i visit.

Whereabouts in the UK are you (you can just give a general area) I know of a couple of places in the North West that stock EBMM's.

From what I hear, DaveB's place is very good, although they were closed when I went, teaches me to check the opening times though

Hey guys, Machinehead Music looks like a great shop with a good rep by the looks of it. I live near Birmingham (West Midlands). We have alot of great music shops around here but for some unknown reason they stock everything else but M.M guitars.

Machinehead are definately VERY good! Got my bass set up there and bought my hubby's AL from him. It's a fab shop - loads of gear, a basement to try amps out in, and great prices.
