Hello Guys and Gals,

I've recently entered the world of Stingray ownership - mainly through chance - i was doing a deal with a guy on a markbass 2 x 10, and he had an old 'Ray for sale. I traded a warwick Thumb 4 BO for it.

I wasn't sure if i was doing the right thing as the Ray is really beat up cosmetically, but dudes - I'm glad i did the deal.

She's from '88 and has a real pretty neck. The body is badly chipped with loads of paint missing off the back - sunburst with a black guard - original was white and supplied.

I used her for the first time tonight at a rehearsal for a Floyd tribute band I play in - I can be authentic there due to the Tony Levin link up!!

Sounded and played fine - everyone commented on the tone.

About me.....I'm well middle aged! Three kids - all who love and play/sing music. I play in 2 rock trios and the 7 piece Floyd tribute - 'The Great Pig in the Sky' - and I'm very open minded about basses - owning far more than is necessary. I gig every weekend - and love it.

I love my music - and i love everything bass related - so that's me.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys...

Keep it low,

Col
