Howdy to all, been a lurker for a while now and felt today was a good to day to introduce myself to the forum.

My name is Gus, 42 year old guitar player wannabe and proud father of two wonderful children ( musically talented ) the oldest is a Drummer and Keyboard Player and the youngest is learning to play Guitar. They did not get their talent from me :D

I have always been a guitar freak and have been fortunate enough to own want I've wanted, as all of us have, I have sadly sold or parted with many treasures. Currently I own only Fenders and am ready to move into EBMM territory.

My next which will be soon, within days, unless someone talks me out of it will be a JP6 BFR. I just can't get past the reviews and beauty of it, I believe it will give me years of pleasure. Yes, I know coming out of the closet here will only fuel my desire for more balls and I'm fully prepared for that. I apologize in advance for the dumb questions that I may ask, I plan on using the search feature as often as possible to avoid clogging up the site.

You folks are a great community and EBMM's involvement from the top down or should I say as a whole is the reason they now have a new and long lasting customer.

I hope I can one day contribute to this site in a positive way and pay forward the benefits I have gotten form reading your posts.

Peace & Happy Music to all, Long Intro Rant Off

Welcome!!

Look forward to the pics of your BFR JP6 when you finally take posession. Opening the case on your first Ball is a great day....and like most of us..I'm sure it won't be your last.

Don't worry about asking questions....fire away! We're all here to help and inform.

Cheers!

BFRs are insane. EXCELLENT choice! Welcome aboard, Gus. I'm in a musical family, myself! My mom plays the french horn, my oldest sister plays trombone, flute, keyboard, french horn and saxophone. My next oldest sister plays clarinet and baritone saxaphone. I play trumpet and guitar...and my dad doesn't play anything :p We're all trying to convince him! He always wanted to play trumpet...Now's his chance! :D

Sorry for the rant!

ABC - nice to have another new member on the forum.

Robelinda2 is 100% correct - you would love an Albert Lee or two!!

Fenders are good - EBMM are better! (IMO)
