Question Newbie to forum...question about 2005 LE Stingray

Hello all,

I am a newbie to the forum, so please be gentle. I have a couple of questions about the 2005 Limited Edition Stingray. I'm strongly considering picking up one and am curious if any knows the answers to these questions:

1) Any best guess as to how many of these 2005 LE's were made?
2) Any best guess or range of what the street price would be for one that is in 9 - 9.5 condition, as is the OHSC.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Value might be a little higher than an average 05 Stingray, but keep in mind that the special editions are not that much more expensive when new, because it is basically a limited colour on a regular production model.

Production numbers a a well kept secret. Maybe take a look at the evilbay to check for the used prices.

Thanks everyone for your feedback, and, yes, this one is Buttercream and nearly mint. The only defects, if you can call them that, are very minor scratches on the pickguard. Beyond those, this girl is flawless.

With respect to pricing, I see Stingray 4 H's range from quite a bit. I'm trying to get my head wrapped around what demand there might be for this particular bass.

I have one of those and she's priceless to me. I've got flats on her right now, giving her that warm, phat, buttery sound. She may have some mojo from being on the road, but that just makes her all the more beautiful.

If you like the way she plays and sounds, then buy her. The range in price between high and low won't be all that much.
