Rename you friend 'basskiller' and make him buy your exact body weight in Guinness (hopefully not in one sitting). That's what I'd do. Mojo happens and now you have a story to tell.

Well I know most of the body shops in my area so having one of them do it isn't a big deal I guess. I also know an airbrusher looking to expand his portfolio and will do it for cost of materials so we shall see

doug..... the new defender of truth .....

haha, boldly going where few have gone before, in the name of truth! :p

I have 2 EBMM "players" (1 for 13 years, another just 6 months ago) that I play regularly, but also keep as nice and possible.....I'd be crushed for this to happen, and would seek out options to repair. Heck, I bought the 2nd one so the first one could stop getting any more "mojo", haha!

The 911 analogy is a good one, of course 99% of people would have it repaired, no question.

I don't understand the question.

You said if you would do something really different, but you have several really different basses. I guess you can never have too many?

It's been a while since I've been on here but don't you have an olive Bongo?

But no, there is no such thing as "too many" Bongos, as nearly as I can tell.

Sure, and I like to think of that one as sort of an "original" Dargie, albeit with some added bling.

In reality, though, it came after the initial run of "Logan Green", which is the official name for the color we commonly call "Martini Olive Green".

The first ones (four or five?) went to NAMM and were roundly shunned by dealers, which is why we alway say, "Green basses don't sell!" (Blame Guitar Center, I say!)

Dargie, of course, has one of those original green Bongos and an artist (Jessie Bastos? I forget) has another.

But yeah, God bless BP and Dudley and Dargin and the guys, they found an extra green spray can for that Flaming Biff Bongo!

you can use a dab of wood putty to fill up the dents , sand it down withh super fine paper, go to a hobby shop or auto parts get 3 or 4 paints that look similar, when you get home see which one is closest, paint it , it will be very very hard to tell , where it was i did it to a silver one i had, looked great,

I have a feeling this is what I'm going to wind up doing and then just having the guy I know do a custom airbrush on it to give some additional help in concealing it.

Now I just need to figure out what I want to have airbrushed on...
