Hi everyone.......I just discovered this forum after purchasing an Axis hardtail with MM90's a week ago (total impulse buy, but for $599 brand new I couldn't resist!)....great guitar, great forum! My guitar instructor has been an endorsee of Ernie Ball, and after picking one up I see why he always raves about them. Excellent quality, great playability, and a killer tone. I couldn't be happier!

MattC is that a black sparkle??? I lightened the picture up a bit and that's the way that it looks to me.

Yep...it's black sparkle. I didn't really like it at first, but it's growing on me....it's got a funky retro vibe that I'm startin' to dig. It doesn't photograph very well...the flash really brings out the sparkle which tends to overpower everything else. It's much more subdued in person.
I bought it brand new...it was on a manager's special. They were blowing out some older inventory...I saw it, played it, loved how it sounded, so I snagged it.

Oh by the way Matt as a new member you are required to lend out your EBMM guitar to all members starting with me of course for at least several months. We just started this rule.....
